A Wild Sign Company has signage solutions for all budgets. From banners to painted signs up to fully dimensional carved signs like Northern Scapes Landscaping we can help you find the perfect fit. Projects such as the one above offers the client a unique experience when the seasons change. Reminiscent of an Adirondack adventure in the summer the crushed glass (smaltz) for the lake adds a visual punch when the sun shines on the glass. We will be treated to a winter wonderland when the snow nestles on the carved elements for a different effect.
Care & Maintenance
For longevity of your signs a litte TLC goes a long way. Once in the spring, and again in late fall, clean your sign with mild soap and water with a soft cloth or paint brush. If you have GOLD on the sign do not touch it as you may rub off the leafing. Over time dust, dirt, salt, bird excrement and bug nests can break down the bond of paints to the substrate..jpg)
To Repair Or Replace
If you notice your dimensional sign having issues with wear and tear give us a call to set up a consulation. Many times we are able to help clean and restore the surfaces of older redwood or cedar signs giving new life and many more years of use. Prices vary from one project to another and are based on a percentage of current market pricing to replace the panels..jpg)
Cost:Life
Our signs have a great lifespan due to the care we take to prepare all materials each step of the way. We have projects that were created in the late '90s that today still look amazing after restoration work. Cost of sign/# years of life=Cost per year. After restoration that cost per year decreases even further.
Vestal Emergency
This sign was created back in 1992 when we first started the sign business. Made from redwood. Image shown is just before the panel was to be taken down to endure it's third restoration. At this time the Squad was preparing to move into its new multi-million dollar building and the group wanted the sign restored before its final move to a position of honor indoors.
Process of Repair
We begin with an evaluation to determine what type of repair is best. Then we meticulously clean, scrape, poke and prod to remove any loose debris and see if there are any damaged panels that need replacing. The end result is a seamless look to the final project which will give you a like-new appearance when our work is done. Photos are taken along the way to document all aspects of your restoration.
